6 Months Training @ Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai
It all started on 3rd May 2010, the day for the first time ever i entered the Taj Mahal Palace. It was a dream come true for me to get a chance to train at this prestigious property, which is known to be one of the worlds best property. The First thought came to all our minds on the first day was that "We are alone". As months progressed some of us became very close friends. Day by day learning at this place was becoming more and more fun. People i.e.: the hotel staff was too professional and friendly as well at the same time. Months passed by very quick and the farewell arrived. The day when some of us were rewarded for our hard work. There were many awards to be given on this day for best performances in respective departments. I won the Best Trainee In F&B service, this was truly a deserving although F&B service isn't my area of interest but i managed to get award for this category.People do give their best in their respective area of interest. While training period Front office wasn't the only area which i wanted to learn as it was my area of interest. To be a good hotelier you need to have a fair idea of all d core departments.
D - Day arrived, the last day in the hotel, none of us wanted to leave this place and go,we could see tears in all the eyes who had to leave, this was an emotional moment, but unfortunately we had to leave.
The journey did not end here infact it started from here.
